Owner
Jarod is a third-generation flooring expert with a passion for the trade, with hands-on experience in both installation and sales. Having grown up in the industry, he’s learned that success comes down to honesty and consistently exceeding customer expectations. This philosophy has earned him the trust of repeat clients and a steady stream of referrals.
Outside of work, Jarod is a proud husband and father of two, with two energetic dogs rounding out the family. He enjoys exercising, competing in Spartan races, coaching youth sports with his son, and making the most of every moment life has to offer.
Emily Alexander
Accounting & Marketing
Emily brings a natural talent for color and design, along with a warm, friendly personality that puts people at ease. As a teacher by trade, she has a passion for helping others and a gift for making things clear and approachable. Whether she’s assisting with flooring selections, helping in the back office, or supporting the Encore Floors team, Emily is always ready to lend a hand and make a difference.
Outside of work, Emily loves spending time with her kids, staying active, and finding ways to brighten the day for those around her.
Linda Korona
Office Manager
Linda is great at helping customers find the right flooring for their home. She has a keen eye for color and design, and always brings a friendly, courteous attitude to every interaction. If you have questions, Linda will make sure you get the answers you need quickly and clearly.
When she’s not helping customers, Linda enjoys spending time with her dogs and cheering on her favorite football team.
Omar Diaz
Tile Technician
With over 15 years of flooring experience, Omar Diaz brings a high level of skill and professionalism to every project. Alongside his partner Manny, the two form a seasoned installation team known for their precision, reliability, and unmatched experience in the field. Omar takes pride in delivering quality work that customers can count on.
Outside of work, Omar enjoys spending time with his family and traveling whenever he gets the chance.
Manuel Garcia
Carpet Technician
Manuel has 10 years experience of carpet installation. Born in Cuba, Manuel became a US Citizen in 2017 and prides himself in total customer service. You will enjoy having Manuel in your home. He is a gentleman and has a great sense of humor. He won’t leave the job until you’re completely satisfied.
Being the health nut he is, when he’s done with your job, he’s probably going to the gym to work out.
Jim Acuff
Laminate / Wood / Vinyl Plank Technician
With over 27 years of experience, Jim is a highly skilled flooring installer known for his precision and attention to detail. He takes great pride in his craft and treats every home he works in as if it were his own. Jim’s commitment to quality and care shows in every project, making him a trusted and valued member of the Encore Floors team.
When he’s off the job, Jim enjoys competitive bowling and spending quality time with his wife and kids.
Martin Gutierrez
Wood & Luxury Vinyl Technician
Starting out in 2005, Martin Gutierrez and his crew work tirelessly to complete your wood or laminate floor in a timely and high quality manner. Martin will walk the entire job with you before leaving your home to make sure everything looks great!
